Young star violinist and Echo Klassik Award Winner Yury Revich joins the Vienna Ensemble to perform a postponed New Years Concert at the Kulturfabrik in the town of Hainburg. Together the young musicians perform Joseph Haydn's Symphony Nr. 86 – one of his „Parisian Symphonies“ – in addition to Michael Haydn's rarely performed Violin Concerto in A Major, as well as enchanting melodies of the Strauss dynasty and Fritz Kreisler's Carmen Serenade.
The spectacular region of Lower Austria has an enormous cultural offering each year and especially in the summer months of festivals and performances. The town of Rohrau is the birth city of Michael and Josef Haydn, and now the birth house of the composers is a lovely museum - for more information: https://www.haydngeburtshaus.at/en/
Yuri Revich and the Vienna Ensemble performed this concert in the context of the opening of the Haydn Region Series curated by Artistic Director Michael Linsbauer.
